If you love nature then remember that there are many national parks in the U.S. that are well worth visiting and that can be very romantic.  These include the Great Smokey Mountain, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Yellowstone just to name a few.  You don’t even need to visit an actual national park to have a relaxing time in nature; chances are there are many lakes and wooded areas within a short drive to your home if you just check for them.  Campgrounds and cabin rentals often make for very restful and relaxed honeymoons.

Choosing a location that’s a car ride away will mean less money for transportation; no need for an airline ticket and less money in your gas tank as well.  So prepare ahead of time for your romantic honeymoon location and see what’s close to home that you can enjoy.
